Middle of the week already! Time to share Log Cabin quilt designs, and this week they are hexagon shaped blocks,

Love the first design.

Love the second design, but can see some changes I want to try sometime.

The third one is lovely, but the mistake is pretty obvious. Thankfully it is only a virtual mistake, and no fabric was damaged in the process.

Some extra Log Cabin designs after having a brain fade and preparing an extra four designs after a visitor disrupted my morning yesterday. I like an excuse for an extra coffee break anytime, though perhaps the extra coffees shared with the visitor was a bit overboard.

Time for a short break to celebrate the middle of the week.

I would like the one above even without the applique.

Most of the appliques in this series are placed on individual blocks, but sometimes I have let the design expand over several blocks by setting them on Layer 2.

Changing the scale of parts of a design is a great way to add interest to designs.
